When will Nina change her mind about hating Ronan?

So Nina says that Ronan will never be her son. I wonder if they're going to have the crooked cops go after Ronan in prison and injure him and Nina ends up regretting her words. I also wonder if we're going to be waiting until Nov. to get answers about Chance, because I'm more and more convinced that he's not really dead, though TPTB want us to think he is.

What do you think will end up happening to change Nina's mind? Will the truth about Chance come out and then she'll realize that Ronan really was protecting chance? That's my other guess - or maybe a combo. I guess it depends on how long TPTB manage to keep Jeff Branson.

I think the only thing that will change her mind is if Chance is really alive. She may forgive him then.

I'm wondering if it will be too late and Ronan will have moved on to a new assignment - he closes the deal, turns the dirty cops in, and is gone and then Chance comes home and everyone realizes the truth.

I don't think it'll happen until Nina realizes Chance isn't dead, either, given how much she hates Ronan.

But today they arrested the dirty cops and didn't say one word about Chance, do you think he really is alive. Sure was a nice send off they gave him.

Chance is alive. There's no way things would have gone down the way they did otherwise - the paramedics arriving right away, securing the body, Ronan's concern for the pain people are in, not for Chance being dead, Ronan apologizing for how things went down, but not for "killing" Chance. What I'm trying to figure out is if Christine is in on it, too, or if it was just Ronan, Chance and the FBI who knew. Nina sure doesn't, 'cause there's no way she'd be able to fake that much grief and anguish. I think it'll come out eventually that the conversation between Ronan and Chance that we didn't get to see was them setting this whole plan in motion to catch Sid, Owen and the others. Chance was pretty cocky going in there, and yet he took the time to say good-bye to his family, like he knew he wouldn't be coming back. I still say that Chance and Ronan set the whole thing up and that Chance will go into the witness protection program until all of the bad guys are caught.

I was really glad to see he was alive because I sure didn't want to hate Ronan for killing him. All in all it was a pretty good day and I didn't miss one minute.

LOL - I figure it all went down to smoothly for Chance to really be dead. I didn't think they wouldn't actually kill him off. I just didn't expect it all to come out so soon! I was thinking Feb. sweeps before we'd know that Chance was really alive, but I'm glad Nina's boys didn't let her continue to mourn for so long.

But I do feel sad because I didn't expect to lose them both and in one eposide. Poor Nina.
