    Hi Everybody,

I checked this out at the library about two weeks ago, but I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to finish it. Hell, I'm not even halfway through it! Some of it is actually really well-written, but overall it seems to lack a plot. It seems to go absolutely nowhere. I think I'd better give up on this one.

Has anyone else read this? Or like me, attempted to read it?

C.P., no I haven't. It's been widely hailed in literary circles for years but I never had the itch to read it. There is a movie coming out, came out abroad actually, based on it. Supposed to be a limited release in the U.S. in December.
