Right now. I have lived here for 8 years without a single roach, then the manager changed and I think they are spraying with water or something because I have been buying my own raid and trying to keep them under control. It could be that they do not let the guy in if I'm not here on the once-a-month spraying. The previous manager went with the guy and let him in any empty apartments.

Ants, but who doesn't have those in the summer? What I can't figure out is why do they want the soap in the bathroom sink dish?

i've never had any real infestation... except one time last year... and im sure i complained to y'all about it.
There was a problem with my pipes in the bathroom and i got drain flies--- they were horrible!! The exterminator came out twice spraying.. they were literally flying up my nose.. dead all over the window sills, flying into my lap top screen and smearing their bodies all over it! it was sooo gross.
I would die if i had to deal with roaches tho... NO way! Did you ever see that show on animal planet called infestations?? OMG! soooo damn gross

Yeah. We had cockroaches in our first apartment. They didn't come from us but try and keep them out when you share common walls, etc.

Its not an infestation but in the summer I get cave crickets crawling around, most annoying.

When I moved in there were a lot of lady bugs around the window sills, but they must have fumigated them away because they haven't been a problem since.

Spiders are a problem here some years. In '11 it was horrible. I don't have much of a spider phobia but I do hate webs, and that year they were all over the place. A neighbor down the street who has a fierce phobia really had a helluva time.
In the early-80's I had a neighbor who was a total pig, and the whole 6-plex ended up with an infestation of roaches that originated from her apartment. It was horrible. I ended up moving because, although they exterminated, her habits hadn't changed and so I left on a wing and a prayer that I didn't take a few eggs to my new place (I didn't ~ whew!). That person ended up evicted by the sheriff a couple of months later. The place was trashed.

thats crazy. I saw an infestation on tv about the brown recluses... a family actually just got up and left their home. Another family found a snake den under their home. The woman was researching snakes in the area and saw their home on the local news... stating that the last family gave up and moved cause they could not get rid of the snakes!!!
