Do you still have or use floppy disks?

I have a whole box of 3.5 floppies from back in the days of my first computer, but of course no PC made in the last decade has a floppy drive....so they sit collecting dust.

I've got a couple laying around but they haven't been used since I don't know when.

I took everything I had saved on them and put it on CD. I still have a Dell tower with a floppy drive but finally threw out all the floppies after running a strong magnet over them.

Besides having limited memory they failed quite often and would not open so it wasn't too reliable for storage.

Nope got rid of all them a long long time ago. I didn't use them that much anyway because from what I remember the capacity of them wasn't that big.

My father had a Commodore computer that used audio cassettes to save data. You talking old school. This was a computer from the late 70's and early 80's. Before Apple.

No I transferred all the data I had on those things that I wanted to keep to my zip drive and then later to CD-Rom. 3.5's were a joke and I used to have a computer with a malfunctioning A: Drive that would randomly erase disks. Glad they became obsolete, everything about them was limited and unreliable.

Floppy's were about four computers ago for me. I haven't used one since around 2000. That was when I was in college, so most of what went on them was just school-related anyway. In the garbage they went.
