Either/both. Depends on my mood and "where" I'm at. I can do things alone. I can go to the county fair by myself and have a good time (in fact, I have done that).

When I'm totally alone, I tend to keep things more quiet, but will randomly turn up the volume on something if I'm feeling that enthralled it. Funny because yesterday I was at home alone, while my wife and the baby were out. I'm in the den listening on my computer and started listening to my iTunes, with the volume all the way up and suddenly I think I hear something but don't pay too much attention to it; then I hear 'Chris!' It was my wife, they were back. I'm like Oops!

I rarely play music. Don't even have a decent sound system (my Dell speakers are the best I got). When I am alone it is usually quiet. When I am writing I don't like distractions.

Depends on my mood as well. I like sitting in front of the tv, laying in bed with music on, or napping.

usually quiet unless im cleaning... its the music taht motivates me to clean lol

It varies based on my mood. If I'm tired then I'll most likely be quiet but if I'm wired then the volume will go up.
