From a vocal standpoint: at this point in both of their respective careers, I'd have to say they are about even as far as the quality of their singing goes. They both have a good voice (although I wouldn't classify either of them as one of the top 5 vocalists out there). Half of the time, Beyonce "oversings" sometimes and uses too much vibratto and way to many runs in many of her songs. And the other half of the time, she does a song that doesn't really showcase her voice at all. To me, her best performances have been the song "Listen" (of Dreamgirls) and her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner (which was actually superior to Mariah's).

Mariah at this point in her career has an above average voice, but one that is mostly predicated on vocal "tricks" rather than true soul. The only thing really special about her voice is her range and ability to sing in whistle register. But the quality of the natural tone of her voice has degraded over the years to the point where she is just a shadow of her former self. In her prime years (1990-1996) Mariah had one of the BEST voices and could sing rings around Beyonce or the Mariah of today. Personality wise, they tie! They both seem like nice girls who would be down to earth on most occasions and "divas" every now and again as well.

Mariah is more like the featured artist, anyhoo I do like it.

I'm going to need to hear this a few more times. My original impression was that I'm not impressed. Sounds like something that could fit on any of her albums over the past ten years. Very predictable.

As far as the song goes. Meh. Not only does it sound like a leftover from 2005, she basically let them two drown her out on her own damn song. I have no interest in listening to this again.

Why is this girl a judge. Why does American Idol still come on? That show became garbage many seasons ago.

I think the current state of the show is proof it's time to stick a fork in it. No one ever has any real lasting ability. Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert are still around. But most of the winners or others are names most people don't even remember. Minaj was put in there just to stir shit. But the thing is when you stir shit, it's still shit.

The whole thing plays out like a publicity stunt, in my opinion.

This whole thing reminds me of an urban version of Nancy Kerrigan vs. Tonya Harding. Now people are going to watch American Idol to see if they start fist fighting on live TV.

Love it. Its the theme song from the new Oz movie. She looks friggin great!!!!!

It's an okay song and video, even if she seems a bit silly looking in some parts of it with the really cartoonish posing and gestures.
