    I do not like the title "self help" books, but you know what I mean.

    I spent most of my teens listening to these on audio tape. Some I found valuable, if only because they offered life wisdom that was comforting (even if cliche.)

    Anyone else have any favorite self help books?

    Definitely "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari", By "Robin Sharma".
    Was a best seller and very inspiring to myself and to all who I knew that read it.

    It's not really a self -help, but a motivational book based on a fable

    I don't think I have ever read a bonafide "self help", but I do enjoy the Chicken Soup books. Maybe lame, but some stories are so compelling and inspiring.
