Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected Empty Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected

Has anybody seen this show? Does anybody remember it? I don't remember HOW I found out about it, but something funny that happened last year was I put it on my Christmas list and it turns out I wrote down Tales of the Unexplained, which turned out to be a real show with Boris Karloff, so I got that instead, which is a great show by the way. But anyway, the first season of Tales of the Unexpected is really high on Amazon but luckily they are up on Youtube. I saw one the other night, The Dirty Detail with George Peppard,

The show seems pretty low budget but it is entertaining. And something about this particular episode I found interesting, George Peppard plays a Sergeant in the Marine Corps, in real life he joined the Marine Corps when he was 17.

Never heard of the series. Have you ever seen Boris Karloff's Thriller?

No, years ago I heard about it and tried to get it but it was like $160 for the set. I think they're on Youtube though so I'm going to check it out. I HAVE seen the 70's British show Thriller, which is also very good and creepy.

I used to watch it religiously, plus I've read the book. Thanks for bringing it up. Brings back good memories.

How many of these were also on Alfred Hitchcock Presents?
