It seems like just last week it was Memorial Day. I always feel a little down around Labor Day when the pool closes. I know it's still really summer and I do like Autumn but after that comes winter which I do not like.

Nothing really planned except to get more use out of our swimming pool. But I'm not looking forward to summer ending, even though this hasn't been too good of a one. In reality fall is going to have a lot more to look forward to: that's when the library has its yearly book sale, it's when the town has its fall festival with the big parade we like to watch and a lot of stuff to go around and see and do, and my birthday's in October and there's Halloween and then Thanksgiving, and in between the garden will die out and so will the grass, less yard work, but I'm not looking forward to everything being dead for the winter again.

Summer doesn't really end here. Check my Av pic. That was taken last December 24th.
It will just be a little less hot most days but we are still in Hurricane Season until November. (Watching the tropics right now actually).
