I have one. I need it to wake me up. Most of the electronic clocks have a high pitched tone that I don't even hear awake, much less asleep. (Like my useless smoke detector).

Haven't had one in years but they do come in handy if there's a power outage.

Oh man mine scared the HELL out of me every morning. That noise was a heart attack waiting to happen, same with those electric BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ clocks, I can't stand those either.

Haven't had one in forever. I'll stick with my clock radio. It's rare that I need one to wake up any way.

I haven't had one since I was a kid. What I remember about it is that the older it got the time/timer would be "off" and the ring became weaker.

as a kid i HAD to have one or i wouldnt get up for school... i would be in a deep sleep and if the clock radio or even the phone rang, i would put them in my dream and not wake! now i use my cell phone
