Have you ever bought stock in a company, or invested in a one? Is there any company that you'd like to someday invest in?

Apple's shares cost waay too much .and I'm not willing to invest the significant money it would take for me to even see a profit. Still looking into building a portfolio though.

Yes and no, we bought into several mutual funds, hubby studied them and chose the ones he thought best. because of some serious reverses we were late starters at saving for retirement but he chose very well and while we are no where near rich, with our Canadian and American retirement funds and the investments we are comfy. Because of nerves over the world economic situation we recently put it all in CD's.
