Hot coffee in the morning - A MUST. Yeah, I am addicted to it (that is not a joke - once in the last half century I missed coffee for a day and got a headache from the withdrawal)
I drink hot tea in the afternoons. I like iced tea but don't make it for myself or buy it. Only when it is available at other ppl's houses do I drink it.

I'll drink both but I prefer coffee most of the time. Regardless, in your scenerio Chris, I'd be forced to drink the coffee even if I was in the mood for tea.

I hate both, the only tea I like is sweet ice tea.

Tea. I used to be a coffee addict, but I hardly drink it now. Unless I was really trying to stay awake, I'm going for the tea 90% of the time.

That's a hard choice. I've been known to have both on the table or desk at the same time. Love coffee & ice tea.

Like them both, but coffee has the edge because it's more essential for me; I need my morning cup of Folgers. Typically I don't drink coffee past the morning hour, though...tea, however, can be guzzled at any time of the day. So it also depends on what time it is.

Probably tea, depending on the time of day. I'll sometimes start my mornings off with coffee. If it's herbal tea, I'll drink that any time of day. Caffeinated teas, I try not not have past 4:00 - any caffeinated beverage, actually.
