A few scattered pieces of late 2 and 3. Not too many specifics for a while but such is the case with everybody.

Re: How far back can you remember?
I have one memory of when I was in the crib so I must have been at least 1, I was standing up and the crib was in my Mama's room and I shouted out something to her and she turned and said go back to sleep. I still can see the candle lit in front of St. Anthony too. That is all I remember.

Re: How far back can you remember?
My first vivid memory is when I was about a year and a half. My mom was getting my picture taken and one of the props was a yellow toy phone. I remember the photographer giving it to me and I remember playing with it and then pretending someone was on the other line and I shouted out to my mother "Mommy, it's for you!". They both were laughing. Clear, concise memories.....I can go back to 1985. I was 2. I remember another one when I was about that age, me and my mother were in the grocery store and she had me sitting in the cart. We were in the aisle and my mother turned to get something off the shelf and this women was walking by and started to push the cart out of the way so she could get by. As soon as she touched the handle I screamed "Ahhh, STRANGER, STRANGER!". My mother spun around and everyone in aisle was looking our way. The woman laughed and told my mom "Girl, you're good....you ain't gotta worry about nobody taking her".

Re: How far back can you remember?
I remember being in the crib and being afraid of the sound of firetrucks.
I also vividly remember watching Aretha Franklin singing her new song "Chain of Fools" on TV. That was 1967 and I was born in 1965.

Re: How far back can you remember?
I have a few recollections from my first year.
My mother's got me beat though, she can remember the day she was born because she heard the nurses talking about her, and about 30 years later talked to her mother about it and she confirmed what the nurses said, even though nobody had ever said a word about it from when she was born to that point.

Re: How far back can you remember?
I can't fully trust some of my very early memories because they may just be because of the power of suggestion from things my parents told me. I do have a vivid memory of traveling to Colorado by train with my mother when I was old enough to walk. I had a toy doctor’s bag (toy stethoscope, candy pills, (…for my ADD), etc. I do remember riding through one mother of a storm one night. The lightning made it seem like it was daytime.

Re: How far back can you remember?
My earliest memory is looking up at my parents hovering over me at bedtime, both had stuffed animals in their hands. They were trying to get me to pick one. Dont know how old I was at the time, but I'm guessing 3 or under.
