My wife makes about a dozen varieties of cookies around Christmas. Those are my favorites. The rest of the year it doesn't matter to me. Oh BTW. I tried the oatmeal cookies you recommended, NY. They were OK

I love them. What I don't care for are oatmeal and raisin cookies.

I don't eat a lot of cookies, but I like the kind (don't even know what they are) that they make in Mexican bakeries. They are so good.

I tend to prefer homemade cookies. I buy Dad's chocolate chip oatmeal cookies for dunking and I buy Girl Guide cookies but other than that, I make my own for the most part.
