That reminds me. Ritchie's Slush. It originated in my hometown, a small city right outside Boston. I've never seen it outside Massachusetts, but it's the best summer treat.

I like boiled peanuts (they sell them in cans at the supermarked for those of us who can't go dig up fresh ones)
I like okra - cooked with butter beans or field peas and I really like fried okra but haven't had any in years. Fried yellow squash is good too.
