Well, if you need directions I will tell you how to get there. if I'm asking you got to get somewhere, I don't mind you telling me. What I don't like is someone telling me HOW to drive. Shut the hell up, I'm a better driver than you.

If it's just THAT obvious to me that they don't know what they're doing, or are going a route that makes no sense, and will have us getting there late, then I will speak up.

Backseat drivers get put out. It's like my mother used to say...."just ride." Don't try and direct the movie.

Nope - not a back seat driver. I have more important things to talk about than telling the driver where to go, unless they've asked for directions and I know where it is.

Once I fell asleep in the car in NJ about an hour from home coming back from NY. I woke up and realized my husband had driven halfway to Harrisburg PA and didnt even notice he was in the wrong state! That is what i get for not back seat driving one time! lol
