| Well, why not? We're already on the subject of killer kid movies. I have never seen this movie, and Bluesmama pointed out it can't hold a candle to The Bad Seed, but has anybody else here seen it? What's your opinion of it? | |

| I've seen it. It's a little chilling to watch a movie about a child murder, but it was a decent film nonetheless. | |

| It was actually quite interesting to see MacCauley in a dislikable role. Definitely NOT the adorable little angel we were used to in the "Home Alone" movies. | |

| ITA that it was really interested to see Macauly Culkin in that role. I read that the director really wanted him and said the onyl other person he'd have preferred was Shirley Temple. Macaulay's Dad refused to let them have him unless they gave the role of the sister to Mac's own sister and he insisted the picture of Baby Richard be of one of his other kids and that the picture hd to be credited, too.
What scares me now is that I've worked with a few kids EXACTLY like the character Macaulay played - sociopaths. Thankfully, there have been only a few out of hundreds, but still - those are the kids you wait to hear about on the news.

You know, TSJ, that reminds me of a thought I had after seeing the movie Bloody Birthday last Friday night, did you ever see that? It was a movie about 3 kids born on the same day, during a lunar eclipse, sun and moon cancelled out Saturn so they were born with no emotions and when they were about to turn 10 they just started killing people, random teenagers, their families and their teacher, and everybody just sees these three cute kids who never did anything wrong.

| I saw it that was a great movie!! MC was so convincing as the child killer and EW as the kid who was trying to convince everyone that MC was a little demon in disguise. | |
