Man the things we did as kids. Did anyone have those mosquito trucks drive around their area throwing out billowing white clouds of insecticide? I think it's what personal injury lawyers call an "attractive nuisance". Of course all us kids would have to follow behind on our bikes riding in the "cloud".

A little. But I grew up in the San Joaquin Valley of California ~ mecca for the Tulle Fog. So the fog that people complain about where I live now, is really nothing to me.

I don't care for it. It is one of the most dangerous road hazards in some parts. In New Orleans the fog is usually the culprit for those bad multi car pile ups on I-10. We don't get it too often here in Miami but we do and ppl here haven't got sense to drive more carefully when they are blind.

someplaces in CT have dark winding roads with hidden intersections and when the fog rolls in, people are doing 50mph on these roads that i wont drive 30 on during a clear day. VERY scary place to drive with fog

I do love the fog but one experience I had was pretty scary. I left a friends house up on the North Shore of Long Island late one night. It was foggy. The North Shore of LI has a lot of vegetation so it was pretty thick and I could not see 3 feet in front of me. I put the fog lights on and got on the expressway and it was even worse. I put the bright lights and hazard lights on and prayed that I would not hit into another car or one would not hit into me in the rear. I drove like 25 miles an hour and by the time I got to the South Shore, the fog didappeared! Never want to experience that again!

I don't think I even knew another person who liked driving in it! It is SO scary to me to drive in. It is kind of cool to go for a walk in the fog. But I never, ever drive in it if I don't have to.
