She's been released from prison, and everyone is talking about her like she's a marked woman. If you were her, what would you do?

I would go stay with a supporter of mine that is willing to hide me. Since she is getting donations, I am sure someone who has a few bucks would volunteer.
I don't think she can leave the country yet with the one or two civil cases coming up.

I would hope not anyway, especially if they do manage to hit her with the costs of what it cost all the search parties to find the kid she told them was alive when she knew Caylee was dead in the first place. They had a guy on Geraldo last night who works on missing children's cases who said they had to pull out resources that could've gone to families with REAL missing kids to try and find Caylee.

If I were Casey Anthony, I'd admit already that I did the crime and just go back to jail for good--at least in there, she might stand a little better chance of staying alive as opposed to a life constantly looking over her shoulder, wondering when and if someone's going to pick her off with a sniper's bullet. Let her stay alive but live with the guilt--good in theory, but I also don't see that happening because
A. She has no guilt or remorse
B. I really think it's only a matter of time before someone finds her and puts a bullet in her head.

What can she do? If she lied (and I suspect that she did) then she's going to spend her life living a lie uncomfortably. And in that case, I hope she's miserable.
My guess is that she'll find some gullible bastard to take care of her. Susan Atkins managed to when she was in prison back in the 80's.

Not necessarily. Prisoners do not like child molesters/rapist/murderers. The prisoners serving real time who know they are never getting out have no problem bumping off a kiddie murderer. They got Jeffrey Dahmer in jail.
I read that with her book/movie deal, even after she pays off the investigation costs, she will still wind up with over $500,000. Thats a nice chunk of change. I would take that to the Phillipines and live off it the rest of my life.

But here's the part that makes no sense, she can't tell the truth to save her life, so why would anybody want to pay one red cent just for the privilege of hearing her lie?

cause she will probably run with the "dad molested me and mom was the bitch who knew it angle". People out there will justify her lying by claiming that her controlling father killed the kid and she was trying to cover for him. Once the media frenzy starts, there is ALWAYS a book deal. People will read anything to spice up their own lives to feel connected to something important.
We will never know the truth... just like with JonBenet--- still waiting for someone to come forward with that one!

That's why I said "better chance of"--with this case, I think there's more people on the outside who'd like to see her pay dearly, some of whom are just bold enough themselves to make that happen. At least in jail, there's a limited population as opposed to the general public. Being in a situation where there's 100 people who'd like to murder you, vs. one where there's 1-million or more, seems like better odds, even though neither situation would have a different outcome--Casey can run, but she can't hide; it's only a matter of time before someone gets her.

but is that really right? shouldnt we trust in the legal system. She was deemed not guilty because the jurors found reasonable doubt. Some of the jurors have done interviews and told why. Of course "not guilty" is not the same as innocent--- just means not enough evidence to convict.
Lizzi Borden is the same type of case. she was acquitted, and then spent the rest of her life in isolation in her hometown. We sing nursery rhymes about the crimes she "committed", but was found not guilty of. over 100 years later an "innocent" woman is still promoted as a murderer. Is that right?

They said O.J. didn't do it either. Or that dude that played Baretta and shot his wife. And it took what, 30 years to bring one of the Klux boys to justice in the Mississippi Burning case.

i think OJ and jonbenet were cases of police mismanagement of the crime scene. If the police/lab people dont do their jobs properly, people suffer.
the mississippi case took all that time for social change to come about. not that it was right.

And it's not like juries aren't infallible. It's a long running theory that when jurors are selected, anybody who's considered intelligent or who might actually ask questions is dismissed, and the rest are kept. Somebody brought up a case where a man killed his kids because his wife was cheating on him, then tried to kill himself, he lived, but the jury decided it wasn't his fault, that the infidelity justified the murders of the children or something.

But the crime hasn't changed. You'd have to indict her on a different claim.

Rob's right, after the verdict she could have come out on the courthouse steps and said, "suckers, i did it!" and there's nothing that can be done. unless they charged her with kidnapping (which technically they couldnt do i dont think), defilement of a corpse (which is usually a misdemeanor).

Maybe they should just put Casey in a room with video surveillance, with Whitey Bulger, he can pop her one, then we'll have it on tape that he killed someone in case the jury for Whitey's case "can't seem to find enough evidence" to convict him when his trial comes along. Voila! Two birds with one stone.

It will probably be at least 15-20 years before she will be able to not look over her shoulder, or fear for her safety at any given moment. So if I were her, I would get out of the country as soon as I could clear a passport.

But the question is where would she go? The Puerto Ricans have already sounded off they don't want her. Of course she could go to China since they're okay with killing baby girls.
