Have you ever been skunked?

Have you ever been sprayed by a skunk?

Second question:
Have you noticed skunks in your area? A few years ago, after I moved into my house, I came home from work and saw two skunks on my front porch. I was still in my car, so I blew my horn (which did absolutely nothing to rattle them.) I drove around a few blocks for a few minutes, hoping that by the time I returned home, they'd be gone. They were. I saw quite a few that first year, but haven't in the last two or so.

No and no.

Never been skunked. Our dog was years ago at my parents'.

As far as this suburb, I never did see a skunk until a couple weeks ago. I was in the house with the patio all opened up and I could smell it. I was so surprised because we are too busy around here to usually have the wildlife come this far into town. Except for rabbits. We have a bunch.

I've never been skunked, and yes I've seen quite a few around here....a lot of times they get run over'd, so a lot of times you'll see them dead on the road. I've ran over a couple dead skunks... shit stinks.

one lived under our deck and sprayed my dog. At one time, the scent was coming from under my living room floor so badly that my bro took a saw and started ripping up my floor to try to get rid of the smell!

One day i saw the skunk come out from under my house and went into the street. The drunk guy who lived across the street got in his car and backed up and forward until he purposely ran it over! That was sick and disgusting!

I haven't actually seen any around here in years, but recently I've been smelling their stench so I know they're still very nearby.

They're around but they've never got me. Closest was my car one time when I had to drive over a fresh one that was pre-dead.

We don't seem to have skunks in this part of BC, crazy as it sounds I have never gotten even a faint whiff of skunk here. But once in the dead of summer in New Mexico with all the windows open a skunk walked by and for some reason sprayed the house. I had to close the windows and suffer the heat.
