Leave the Amendments alone. They're fine. It's the idiots trying to revise them that are the problem.

well the 14th grants whoever who is born in this country to be a citizen. That I dont agree with. It causes too many "anchor baby" situations, not to mention puts pregnant women traveling across the borders in serious physical dangers which could cause harm to them and the baby. It also puts strain on our hospitals because they are footing the bill for the illegal immigrant pregnant woman to have her baby here.

The 16th - collecting income tax - do away with it. We pay enough freaking tax on everything from our cable and phone bills, to property tax and school tax. Put a usage tax on products, such as with cigarettes and gas - that people who consume the most pay the most taxes. That way the rich, who spend more, would be paying their fair share of taxes and wouldnt have any loopholes to deduct!

I think we need an addendum on the 22nd amendment to include limited terms for Senators, Representatives, Supreme Court Justices and all other government officials--not just the President.

You can't even vote some of these idiots out of office, they've got their claws in so deep from having made a life-long career out of their position.

2-4 year limit, then boot their asses out--and no special perks for having been a Congressman. Go back to work in the public sector and earn your pension/Social Security and healthcare benefits, pay your taxes, just like the rest of us have to do.

I am so with the first two 110%.

I think #10 is abused, and I don't like #14, either. Otherwise, I wish the nation would quit trying to f---with it.

That's actually not a bad idea at all.

On November 11, 2009, Republican Senator Jim DeMint proposed term limits for the U.S. Congress, where the limit for senators will be two terms for a total of 12 years and for representatives, three terms for a total of six years.

Nobody said a damn thing about giving up the Bill of Rights. Maybe when dumbasses want to alter Constitutional Amendments to ban burning the flag? (Fuck the citizens but protect those symbols) To restore prayer to schools? To ban any marriage that doesn't fit into their religious little dogma? And that religious bullshit tries to get added in every chance they get. And it will, eventually if the country doesn't collapse first for other reasons. Most Americans are too damn lazy or apathetic to even vote.

When there's something to add or revise that actually DOES something for the citizens rather than oppress then fine. Revise away. But until then, leave it the hell alone.

Well that's how we got them. By amending the constitution. Not by revising the other amendments which the rest of you are pissing and moaning about. Sometimes change is for the better. There's nothing in this country anyone would want to see changed for the better? Sad. To answer Chris' question, I disagree with #19.
