I don't like the lack of privacy one has when a person walks in, but it is way better than the tiny awful porta potties that are the option now.

i don't do porta potties either.. i will HOLD MY PISS

I don't even like public restrooms, so..I don't think so.

Hell to the nah. Communal dressing rooms I'll tolerate....but not that.

I can't even stand taking a shit in public restroom for fear of someone in the next stall hearing the turds as they plop into the water! I've remedied that, though, by always putting a big wad of toilet paper into the bowl, first, so it catches it and muffles the sound!

With that kind of outhouse-toilet, you might as well go all out and have a total campfire experience, too:

You're entirely welcome--and I'll be willing to bet, you'll be thinking of that, everytime you use a public potty, and hear someone in the next stall, taking a dump, or better yet--wad up the T.P. for your own "relief session".

haha... no way am i using one of those! but there was a great documentary on Current Tv that talked about the lack of toilets in third world countries and how crapping in the streets and water sources was costing the lives of 1000 kids a day in some countries! it was gross the river was bubbling methane from all the feces!

Well, now that the space shuttle has made it's final flight, maybe they can load it up to clean up their streets, and launch it on a one-way mission into the sun--burns up all fecal contamination microorganisms, and saves the US some government spending with the debt crisis looming, so they don't have to fund an addition onto the Smithsonian to house the shuttle, or whatever sort of shrine they'll probably make to honor it. Double win!!

This has to be the funniest of the day I was rolling!

I don't see how anybody in their right mind would use an outdoor ANYTHING related to do with the removal of bodily wastes, male or female.
