Me and my two girls are planning a trip on the Royal Caribbean for the end of August. Probably gonna go to Jamaica. Y'all got any summer vacation plans?

Lord knows I need one. I wanted to go to Hawaii for my birthday but that looks like a bust. Actually, I'm not the one who really plans for vacations. Usually I go just somewhere on a whim. Like a week or two before I take off. So I'll find a little getaway sometime during this summer. Don't know where yet. Jamaica is nice though....don't know if you wanna go there now during this period of unrest. Maybe it'll clear up by then. But if you go, make sure you visit the Bob Marley museum!

. And it reminds of this funny story. I was at a club once and one of the hosts decided to have a dance contest. And they said whoever won, the grand prize would be a trip to Jamaica. So of course, you had all these chicks clamoring onstage trying to compete. Well, they let as many women who wanted to compete, compete. And man, did they get down! Twerking, booty poppin', bringing guys on the stage with them, grinding on them, simulating oral sex, getting real freaky, the works, it was crazy. Then they picked the one who won and the guy was like "Congratulations Ma, you're so sexy and you have won the grand prize!!". And she was so excited. Then he said "You get the trip to Jamaica................................Jamaica, Queens that is! Here's your MetroCard." Said it with a smile too. Her face DROPPED. Everybody in the club was like "ooohhhh SHIT!". I felt bad cause that was hella dirty, but too hilarious at the same. See ladies, it doesn't pay to act fool and degrade yourselves for some free shit.

No big vacation plans for me this summer. My son's sport keeps us traveling for that, so that is where the "fun" money goes.
I was jazzed to find an affordable roundtrip airfare to Atlanta for this weekend, to see a friend for my b-day. I went through the whole process, entered my cc info and everything, only to read a message stating that no more seats were avail. for that price. I was so bummed. So much for being spontaneous!

I'm in North Carolina right now. My first little getaway trip of the summer.

I'm being laid off in a few months....so that pretty much kills chance for anything special this summer.

Probably working most of it - not really sure at this point beyond that.

They didn't give us a final date, but said around October/November.

LOL, my reply is the same as mine in 2010, less any Atlanta plans. That friend from high school is the one who was a total idiot here in December. So she's done.

Taking a trip to Riviera Nayarit in July (next month).
