    Glad you found a good way to beat the heat. My son went to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor last week in Illinois. He said it was so fun. He showed me a youtube video of the water-slide that you are upright for a lot of it and go really fast. So scary looking, but he loved it.

    I got on all of them.....one flipped me over, that's how fast I was going. I ended up coming out of the slide face down. I still have got water in my ears.

    Today is even hotter than yesterday! It feels like being locked in a hot room with no windows. I should have taken today off instead of yesterday!

    It's slightly (keyword being 'slightly') warmer here today than it was yesterday. Whereas yesterday it got up to 100°, today we're only going to see a high of about 90° (and we're already there.) It's supposed to thunderstorm today and all weekend, so that's apparently what our heatwave was leading up to.

    Thankfully the humidity has dropped.
