    Seven Chances Empty Seven Chances

Buster Keaton movie from 1925; taken from a Broadway play and later turned into 2 3 Stooges shorts where Shemp has to marry a woman by 7 to inherit a fortune. Here Buster must find a wife and be married by 7 o' clock on his 27th birthday in order to inherit 7 million dollars, and winds up with a million women chasing him.

Not one of his best, and even he didn't like it, a key reason I think is because it wasn't his own work, but still very funny and he never passes up a chance to show off his athletic and acrobatic ability, throwing himself down the cliff at the end like that, my mother always says it's a wonder he never killed himself and I agree.

Though it turns out his biggest laugh in this film occurred by accident, there's a big rocksliding scene as shown in this video:

Turns out when he was shooting, some rocks actually got loose and rolled after him and he had to scurry out of the way, and when the film was played back people saw it and laughed harder at that than any of the other jokes. So Buster had a variety of paper mache boulders made that went up to 6 feet tall and redid the scene. The guy was a genius, plain and simple.
