| It depends. Usually, if I am crying over something in my life, it has me pretty down, so just the cry is not enough. Time is what makes it better. | |

| I don't cry often.
For several years after my wife died, some things (usually a movie portrayal) would trigger a crying episode (sometimes sobbing). I suppose it was cathartic. | |

| For me, I don't think it does. There's liberation in allowing yourself to cry, but afterwards it does not make me feel any better or worse. | |
