Losing money

Have you ever lost (not through gambling, or poor investments, but rather misplaced) a large sum of money? If so, how much was it and did you ever recover it?

I've lost/misplaced nothing more than $50-$60.

I think there may have been a time when I lost $100 bill.. but can't fully remember.

*knocks on wood* maybe a couple of bucks over the years but nothing big. I said on another topic that I'm the one who finds the lost money.

Reminds me of something from The Bank Dick by W.C. Fields. He asks the bartender (Shemp Howard from the Stooges), "Was I in here last night and did I spend a $20 bill?" Shemp says, "Yeah." Fields breaths a sigh of relief, "Oh, what a load that is off my mind. I thought I lost it."

Never nothing major but I hate losing any amount at all.

I once lost $100 and never found it . . . let me get the hell out of this thread before I get mad about it all over again.

Nothing big. I think I lost about $50 once.
