I don't shop there but it was pretty much slammed in the movie Crazy, Stupid Love as a store where middle aged men get their clothes and therefore are not stylish enuf to get girls in bars.

Not since the 1990s. I remember there used to be a large, stand-alone Gap store near my parents house when I was a kid, but it eventually closed.

I do like the Gap. I think if someone had a wardrobe that was mostly Gap, it would be very boring and bland. But I am a big fan of what quality their items are. They hold up well after many washes, which is a must for things like solid color tees and stuff.
