    My sister made a cherry cake and brought half of it over for me this morning. Love me sis to death, but this has to be one nastiest cakes I ever had. It's not her baking, specifically, that is questionable; but rather the flavor the itself. 'Cherry' cake. Bleh.

    It depends on how the cherry is done - lol. There's a really yummy cake mix you can buy that is cherry flavoured and it's great but it's also subtle.

    Yep. For the most part....cherry and any type of pastry don't go together.
