Which would be the more intolerable for you: having a spouse that was a workaholic, putting nothing above their career/job, or having a spouse who seldom did anything work-related.

Eh, I'll take the workaholic....reluctantly. Only IF we have that arrangment where I work and he takes care of the house and kids....okay, but I ain't supporting no grown ass man who doesn't want to work because he's lazy. You can forget it.

We were good friends with a couple where the wife was a high paid workaholic. They're divorced. On the other hand, financial problems put a big strain on a marriage. I guess the workaholic is the lesser of two evils.
