Do you still have your tonsils and appendix? When I was about 10 I had my tonsils and adenoids removed but I still have my original appendix. Glossary too. The experience was similar to what Bill Cosby described in his classic, Wonderfulness.

Tonsils were removed when I was about 5. They used ether to put me to sleep, which gave me my first puking hangover when I woke up.

Haven't had either removed, but this reminds me of that episode of Diff'rent Strokes when Arnold had his appendix removed and befriended the little white girl who had her tonsils out.

I still have my appendix....had my tonsils taken out when I was like 4 or 5. I remember staying in the hospital overnight too and being in the bed. It had these bars on the side of it so I couldn't fall out I guess.

Still got my tonsils, still got my appendix. A few years ago my mother pointed out that it's rare you hear about anybody having either taken out anymore.

Come to think of it, my daughter still has hers. I was constantly getting sick so the decision was made.

My mom had four kids and my oldest sister is the ONLY one who had her tonsils taken out when she was I guess 12, hers were infected and were apparently black when they were removed. It was figured that would stunt her growth, she's 5'7 or more so I can't figure it did TOO much damage.

They will only take them out if they keep getting infected and hard to treat.

I still have my tonsils, I still have my appendix, I still have my wisdom teeth, and I still have my foreskin. I pretty much have all the parts I started off with except baby teeth.
