    Never ate a raw one - about as appealing as a live slug.

    However, I used to like the fried oyster po-boys at Barataria Tavern outside of New Orleans.

    Raw are just not appetizing. I may have had them cooked but it would have been so long ago I can't remember.

    I've personally never tried them, but I know for sure I'd have the same reaction as NY.
