Got to agree with Robert Osbourne, not a great title for the film, the original title The Hands of Orlac was a better one. Has anybody seen this movie? Peter Lorre is a famous surgeon, he's in love with an actress, her husband is a famous pianist, he's in a train crash, his hands are amputated, and Lorre as Doctor Gogol replaces them with the hands of an executed murderer who liked to throw knives. Very creepy little movie and I guess ahead of its time with the idea of transplanting hands on a patient.
