I found this as an example in some forum and this is the response of someone being lied to about the other person's weight.
When you said you had a few extra pounds in the middle, I was not thinking you would be obese. You do know you're obese right? At least 30 pounds is my best guess.
Why do you do this to yourself? In my case, had you shared accurate/recent pictures of your body or told me you're obese, yes I would have passed on meeting you as I'm not attracted to obese people. Plus, as you know, I have lot of physical interests that I want to enjoy with partner. No offense, but there's no way you could keep up. But instead of getting a polite "no thank you" email you put us both through that awkward meeting which will now be followed by a flat out rejection should you follow up again. You are a nice person, so hopeful and so eager to please which makes it even harder to reject you because I'm also a nice person.
So why do obese people put themselves through this??? Is it denial? Do you not see you're carrying far more than a few extra pounds?
Is a date with a person who is going to reject you at the end of it better than no date? I really don't get it.
