| Thirty-three years ago; August 1978.
- Where were you living, and with who?
- Anything specific or significant happen to you that year?
- Do you recall much about that period in entertainment (music, movies, television)?
- If you could relive it, would you?
- On a 10 pt. scale, how would you rank the year?

I was living in New Orleans with my partner Jim until August.

We had just returned from four months in India. Jim and I parted ways that year, after five years together. Had sex with a woman, Kathy, for the first time in five years.

No
- If you could relive it, would you?
Not the highest point in my life, but OK. I was younger - would love to be younger, kissing, licking and pounding Kathy again.
- On a 10 pt. scale, how would you rank the year?
I have no idea.

| The closest I came to 1978 was being conceived....and even that's up for debate. My father says it happened in December, my mother says January '79. | |

| I was 11 years old in 1978, and the things that most stood out for me that year were the Blizzard of '78 where we got out of school for a week because of all the snow. I lived on a very hilly section of town and since all the roads were closed down, we went sliding in the streets! My grandfather also died that December, so that was sort of a crummy thing for everyone. | |

omg!!! sorry bout ur grand dad... but the blizzard of '78!!! We had no heat for days.. it was sooo freakin cold and the heater guys were so busy we were huddled in the living room with sleeping bags. When the snow finally broke, i remember my sisters walking us to the penny candy store with snow everywhere--still no school

When the snow finally broke, i remember my sisters walking us to the penny candy store with snow everywhere--still no school I think we had heat if I remember correctly--we lived in an apartment that had a gas stove with the heater built in the side of it, and that was all we had as long as the pilot stayed lit. I don't recall natural gas being affected, just electricity when the power went out. I do remember, though, that we took the snow on the back deck, and made it into a makeshift cooler, and put the refrigerator contents in it, to save what we could. The milk had ice crystals in it, but was still drinkable! LOL
