Hey Tony!

Yeah, she was born on August 8 at 12:45 pm. Weighing in at 5 lbs., 10 oz., and was almost 19" long. A little small, but totally healthy.

Aw, she's cute, Cat! 5 pounds 10 ounces, that's smaller than I was! Though if I may inquire, where'd your brother get the captain's hat from? Heh heh!

Yeah I was surprised by how tiny she is. By the ninth month, I thought she was going to be huge.

My brother has an archive of hats and caps. Dozens, perhaps hundreds, of them. They're like one of his obsessions and such. Whatever. Just glad he isn't robbing old ladies.

Awwwwwwwwww Cat she is a beautiful little peanut!!!! You look great, that girl is going to be as pretty as her Mama. I hope all went well with the birth and that everything is going very good with you and the baby I want to hug and squeeze that little peanut!!!! Congragulations!!!!

Awwww! She's adorable, Cat!!!!! Not sure if she likes your brother's hat, though. What a tiny baby - so precious. My niece was the same height and about 1 pound heavier.

That is such wonderful news Mom! (Get used to that name ) OK, so I lost the pool...you couldn't hold out until the 14th but 8/8 is my brother's B'day so i still feel a connection

And Chris, the whole ordeal lasted about a day, but I was in active start/stop contractions labor for about 7 hrs. She is keeping me up at night, but it works out just fine because I'm a night owl anyway. I'm anticipating it becoming somewhat of a problem when I return to work next week, but hey it's a balancing act and I can do it.

Sounds like it's working out for you Cat; I'm happy for you and your family. You're phrased it perfectly, having kids is a balancing act, and soon you'll create a groove that works. Did you ever get your car situation straightened out?

Thank you Red and wants2laugh. You are too, too kind. Although I wouldn't say "model" by any stretch. I gained nearly 40 lbs. during that pregnancy, and even though I was 15 lbs. lighter after giving birth and have lost additional 5 lbs. more, I'm still not satisfied with that. I want my pre-baby body back.

Nystyle, yes I'm going back to work tomorrow and I worked up until 2 weeks before I gave birth. Would love it if I could be one of those women who could take a 2 or 3 month maternity leave, but our bills are too pressing. It's back to the grind.

Chris, I junked that car. There was no hope for it. I leased a brand new Mazda3, and am loving it. I just have to try and not drive out the mile limit so that when I turn it in in 3 years I won't get charged.
