Floods Keep following me!!!!

It wasnt bad enough that a flood scooped up my car-- now one invaded my house! Three feet of water rushed into every room of my ranch style house last week.... not cool! Almost everything was destroyed!

Does this stuff happen to normal people???? or just me? lol

Oh wow I am really sorry to hear that, water damage is one of the worst! I hope you have flood insurance and that you didn't lose anything too valuable other than furnishings. How did that water get into the house like that from the rain?

we live about 100 ft from a creek.... in 40yrs of our family living there, the creek would flood around the houses into the streets, but never IN the house. This was the first time we ever had water in the house. Flood insurance covers the structure of the house, but not the contents---long story. so everything is gone---least my car wasnt on the street at the time! LOL and my bro was able to shut the electric off before getting electricuted!!!! so no bodily injuries. but still aggravating. had to get rid of our alaskan malamute too! no one would let us move in with them and take her shame cause she was such a sweet good dog---but my sis was terrified of her 130pound size

Sorry to hear that, W2L, but I had to laugh because when I read the title I was thinking back to when I read Buster Keaton's autobiography, apparently for a year or so when his family was in vaudeville, hotel fires and train wrecks seemed to follow them everywhere...they stayed in so many places that had fires break out that they had their escape route down to an exact science.

Wow that really sucks man. Hopefully homeowners insurance may cover something then. At least no one was injured thats a good thing. Sorry about the Dog too, this is not your year is it.

Ouch. Sorry to hear about that wants2laugh. Hope nothing of personal sentiment was destroyed and that your homeowner's insurance will pick up the slack for any other the damage done.
