| Have you ever gotten clothes from a second hand store? If not, would you ever consider buying used clothes? | |

| Yes, I have. I've gone to Marshalls (is this 2nd-hand/thrift?) and Ross, and a few other local 2nd-hand/thrift stores. | |

| Marshall's is not second hand or a thrift store. I haven't bought second hand clothes, but if I like something that's second hand, I will. I've been meaning to check out Feline's Closet. | |

| That's where I get all my shorts from, and a few tops, and two swimming suits in almost perfect condition. | |

I guess Ross, Marshalls, and TJ Maxx are all considered "Off-Price Department Stores." You can get clothes are cheaper prices than regular department stores. If stores are overstocked with items, and they don't sell, or in Ross's case (manufacturer errors), then they sell them at these places. They aren't second hand. I maybe wrong about this, please let me know...

I maybe wrong about this, please let me know... Yep, and those places sell clothes that the manufacturer would consider 'slightly irregular'. Like if a pair of jeans doesn't have the right amount of stitches or something like that. I've bought items from Marshall's and they weren't bad at all.

| No. I just donate the clothes. My daughter used to get a few things from a second hand store. Maybe if I was a clothes horse and into vintage/retro clothing. But I'm not. | |

| I used to shop second hand clothing stores regularly. Then around here, they became totally shitty. Racks were full of outdated garbage, and on the rare occurrence of finding something good, it was priced too high. | |

| I have sometimes but some places are getting pretty expensive. Value Village used to be good but when I see 2nd hand jeans that cost more at VV than they do brand new, KNOWING that VV had the clothes donated to them, then it's not a place I shop. | |

Yup, same here. I've also been to Ross a few times and they have some good stuff too. I'd probably shop at a TJ Maxx too, if we had one here.
