    The model in the picture was fifteen years old at the time. Now sixteen, she is suing the urban outfitter for releasing the pose; claiming that it is ruining her reputation. In the meantime, some are citing the pose as akin to child porn. What do you think? Was the company wrong to use this photo?

    Well, she's has some fault in it. They shouldn't have released it and it's not porn....but she should've known better or have been taught to close your damn legs when you have on shorts that short or a skirt. You're a young lady. Perhaps her mother didn't teach her proper etiquette.

    1. It's not porn and 2. How did she THINK she was going to look when she had the picture taken? And 3. What the hell is she posing for? She looks like she's sick with a migraine or something.

    I was going to bring up that point. Having done published foto work, I know the standard model release has that the person is over 18 and if not, there is a section for the parent or guardian to sign. Once the legal paperwork is in place, then the foto can be used for whatever reason by the fotografer. If they did not get a valid model release then they should try to settle for as little as they can negotiate.

    No, not porn - just suggestive (slight camel-toe aside). And not even in a sexual way considering it looks like a teen girl having a tantrum.

    Why did she take that picture in the first place? It is in poor taste, but there are things that could have prevented it....like her not posing for it, and her parents not signing off on its release.

    Not child porn, but it is very poor taste for a kid her age. Just lazy work, an easy sensation and not very creative at all.
