Or does it totally depend on the person, gender aside?

I suspect it does depend on the person, but given personal experience, I have to say that men seem to look at it more as the physical act and have no emotion, while women are more likely to have more feelings behind it.

For a large part I think that's right but it still does come down to the person.

I think it's the person but I also believe that through the years people have been subjected to conditioning. There have been certain gender "roles" & behaviors that were expected. Women cleaned the house, cared for the kids, baked the cookies & performed her "wifely duties" while men brought home the bacon, hunted & fished, were the kings of their castle & were...well..men. The shift probably started around the '60's but certainly hasn't reached equity yet. It's still a common belief that women make the best parent of the two, that they are the most nurturing & caring & that they don't like sex & certainly not porn. None of that is true but it seems to be hard to shake that off.

uhhh.....what was the question again? ROFLMAO!

Seriously I think we're probably more alike than different. But stereotypes keep getting in the way.

I agree with Alan, generally yes. I think women associate sex with love almost all the time. Men associate sex with everything; love included, but not exclusively.

I work with a very old wise asian man who is always very respectful. One day I heard him joking with the other men, and he didnt realize i was in earshot and he said something perverted... i was shocked and busted his chops a bit. He looked at me and said, "All men pigs. If u meet man who claims he not a pig, Run. Very Fast. Run--he liar". LOL... love this guy to death.
