| Anybody see this movie? I had heard about it on I Love the 80s 3D and was interested, and I found it at our library, and...it was alright but I found it underwhelming, and especially when you find out that the facts were turned around for the story...and I gotta ask, Joe Merrick...John Merrick, why the hell did they need to change his name? What was the point in that? | |

| Yeah. Not exactly a feel good story but wonderfully acted. Mel Brooks had his name taken off the credits as executive producer for obvious (if you know anything about Brooks' work) reasons. I wonder if Anne Bancroft got the role because she was schtupping the producer? | |
