| So I'm stuck at work. Went out to start my car and it's not starting. I'm thinking it could be the starter, cuz I have been having trouble starting it past few times. When I go to start it, it just makes a clicking noise and won't turn over. So I had to call my roommates to let them know I won't be able to take their kids to school, and I'm waiting to hear back from this guy I know who'll hopefully be able to help me. | |

| Might just be the battery is weak, enuf power to engage the starter but not enuf to turn it. | |

| Could be the starter but even with a weak battery the starter pulls a lot of juice and maybe not enough to start the car. Radio and lights will work on a weak battery but not for long. | |

| Ok, this guest pulled up his car and tried jumping the battery, but it still didn't start. Looks like it most likely the starter. | |

Looks like it most likely the starter. That sucks. Hopefully you can get it replaced today and it won't cost a small fortune.

He said he can get it started. I'm not sure how to go about getting my starter replaced, hoping that doesn't cost too much either. Ugh, but he won't be able to do it til noon, and that's over 3 hours from now. I'm getting off graveyard shift.

I'm not sure, does that mean used? My friend found it for me at AutoZone. It could be.

Yea... but all should be good by this weekend. For now I gotta have someone tap the starter while I turn the key in ignition, everytime I wanna use my car. I feel so embarassed maybe he can get if fixed sooner.

| Spending dough like that that you didn't plan on sucks but it could have been a lot more. Glad it wasn't. Happy motoring! | |
