You always hear about the kids in school getting lice, the flu, stuff like that, but today we find out that the Jr./Sr. high school has an outbreak of impetigo, and it looks like one of our neighbor kids already has it...oddly enough none of the parents have been informed of this yet by the school, it's only through the grapevine that the word's getting out. Has anybody had this stuff spread in their kids' school or when you went?
Considering how highly contagious this stuff is, everybody seems to agree the best plan for the time being would be to shut the school down for the remainder of the week, and sterilize the place, but I doubt that's going to happen.
