| September 23 is the first day of autumn. Are you ready for cooler weather, fall jackets and leaf raking? | |

| Yep I am ready, glad to see the hot humid summer behind us. Fall is a pretty time of the year too. | |

| I'm in Missouri right now, will be back in Miami next week for "autumn" which will go unnoticed there.
Here it has been quite cool for the past 4 days after a week of triple digit heat wave. Kinda nice feeling cool air when running. The leaves here are already falling off the trees.

Please, Chris, I don't wear jackets until it drops to just about freezing. But already I see people in their jackets and sweaters and I'm like what the hell? I'm too hot blooded for this shit, most of my winter clothes are STILL made up of only T-shirts and sleeveless shirts, just like my summer gear. And for raking leaves, I don't mind raking them so much as we have to get them out of all the narrow nooks and crannies around the back porch, and lift them all onto sheets and haul them around to the garden. But overall, yes, I hate to see summer go but as long as winter keeps its distance, I think fall will be good.

| One thing I like about going into fall, we're finally out of air conditioning weather, down into the 70s and 60s at night, and tonight was the first time I've had a hot bath in 3 months, it was niiiiice. | |
