Shale's movie blog brought this to mind. Do you get a flu shot?

I never had a flu shot and I never had the flu.

No because I would be that one person who's sick all winter because of it.

Nope. Don't need it. I get the flu about once every seven years or so.

I've been getting them regularly for several years, with no ill effects. I woulda got this one a couple years ago, but I plan to donate blood Tuesday and I didn't know the time allowed from last vaccination. Will be getting it next Thursday or Friday. It is covered by my health insurance at work and given by Walgreens.

Nope. I don't trust them. The creation/spread of AIDS in the third world countries was caused by a "vaccination" that was supposed to help with polio. So one vac can give you a completely different disease. If the govt wanted to test us as guinea pigs, that is one of the easiest ways to do it.

If I were to get one, I would prefer it be from my doctor. I am really leery of those promotional flu shots that drug stores and businesses offer.

I never used to get the flu shot--my immune system has always been on the better side, having worked with patient specimens and built up antibodies over the years in the lab. I was basically forced to get one when I was on chemo 2 years ago, and it made me feel like hell, already being immunosuppressed, but after about a week, it turned around and I felt pretty damn good.

Last year I got one of my own accord, and overall, I thought it was a good thing--I didn't get my annual sinus infection, so I think I'll try it again this year.

I get them every year. But it's not really optional as they are manditory for me.

When we leave Wal-Mart now, there's a sign on the doors saying basically 'get your flu shots here', I'm like oh HELL

Just don't do it if you have a fever though.

That's what the doc told me but I couldn't figure out why he had both hands on my shoulders until YIKES!!!
