Night thunder

How do you feel about thunderstorms at night; specifically when you're sleeping? Do you like them, or do they distract you?

Funny you mention it because I was going to ask WHY do most thunderstorms occur at night? I don't know about everyone else but around here they hardly ever occur in the daytime, most happen somewhere between late afternoon and evening. Not many come in the middle of the night, but when they do and they wake me up with that sudden BOOM, it doesn't bother me much, I usually fall back asleep very quickly. In fact I'd say I consider the thunder to be soothing to fall asleep to.

I love storms but they are a little more worrisome at night. Sometimes lightning strikes & things fall. Not fun.

I DO NOT like them waking me up. Then I get a bit freaked out. Otherwise I am cool with them.

I hate when they wake me up but I don't mind them.

Yeah, that cackling lighting and booming thunder is annoying at times. But most of the time, I sleep right through them.

LOL, just about anything else but night time thunder storms will wake me up.
