Yes it does. When I am sick I love either a thick homemade chicken soup or chili.

I often eat vegetable soup when sick. I think it is a comfort food and also one of the few palatable things when not feeling well.

Tomato soup is the best, it's hot, it's good, and you can just swallow it, no pesky egg noodles to chew through.

I usually stick to chicken noodle. Sometimes I'll eat cream of mushroom.

I prefer Chicken Noodle and I like it better if its homemade. It does make me feel better, not a cure but just feel better.

I eat it because its not heavy and easier to eat when sick. I doesn't necessarily make me feel better.
