Ray (spoilers)

I watched this last night. Wow, I did not know the full history of Ray Charles. He has a tad of a tainted past. Even past the heroine use, I found online that he had a lot of kids with multiple women. Maybe that is common knowledge, but I had held him to a higher standard given his stature in the music industry.

This is certainly a movie I will watch again though, because the music is just so awesome.

I thought it was a great movie that exposed many sides to the man ~ his determination, his talent, and his weaknesses. Many times he really was not a nice guy. But Ray was a consultant for the movie, so I give him huge credit for having the balls to reveal the bad sides of his life.

The music is great, and Jamie Foxx deserved his Oscar.

I haven't seen this one.

Nobody on planet Earth could've played Ray Charles other than Jamie Foxx. I liked Regina King in this movie too.

Yes, both Foxx and King were excellent in the film.
