When it's nightfall and you're at home watching TV, do you usually turn on a light or do you prefer to watch it in the dark?

Either or. Since I like to conserve energy.....if I don't need the light....I will definitely turn it off.

Do both. But will watch scary ones in the dark most of the time.

I have the light on until I actually get under the covers to relax then I shut the light off.

As Tony said, I usually turn on a lamp, unless I'm in bed and relaxing while watching it.

I watch TV at night with my mother, by the time she wants to see it with the lights off (barring horror movies), that's when I leave the room for the night, when I go to my room for the night, it varies, but usually I leave the lights off unless I'm also trying to read...and of course next month I'm going to string up some Halloween lights in my room which makes for an interesting look, purple and orange being the only source of illumination.

If I'm in the living room the lights are on. If I'm in the bedroom it could go either way.
