A while back there was a discussion over do you do the dishes yourself or do you have a dishwasher, and most people said dishwasher, to the remaining minority do you wash them with bare hands or do you wear latex gloves? My mother wears gloves, my brother wears gloves, I am the only one who will not, I find them absolutely disgusting, I hate how they cling to my skin, and they always made my hands stink, and it was the worst whenever I'd get water up them...I really don't get the point of wearing them in the first place, it's a lot easier to just scrub the dishes without them. Anybody else?

I should but don't. Same with garden work ~ should, but seldom do.

Don't wear gloves. Quite frankly, its pointless.

Got a mild latex allergy so no. But even so it seems you wouldn't be any better off when the inside of the gloves fill up with water. I don't see how that could even be avoided.

No I don't use gloves but I use hot water to wash the dishes.

I don't even own a pair of gloves for the purpose of dishwashing.

I don't use rubber. I wash my dishes bare.
